Ambassador Okuda’s Farewell Reception (8 October 2026)

On 8 October, the Embassy hosted a farewell reception for Ambassador Naohisa Okuda. The reception was attended by many guests, including the Honorable Speaker of Vanuatu Parliament Stephen Dorrick Felix and his spouse. Ambassador Okuda noted that during his tenure of nearly three years since arriving in November 2023, he had successfully implemented various projects with the support of many individuals. He expressed his determination to continue his efforts to further promote Japan-Vanuatu relations even after his departure.
