The Inaguration Ceremony for ”Migration Informetion and Date Analysis System(MIDAS)”

                                                           　
 
                                                           　

On 17 June, Ambassador OKUDA attended the official launching ceremony of a new border management information system, the Migration Information and Data Analysis System (MIDAS), and the eVisa website at Port Vila International Airport.
In addition to the launch of MIDAS, the eVisa project will simplify the visa application process, reduce processing times, and improve overall efficiency for travelers wishing to visit Vanuatu.
Through collaboration with IOM, the Government of Japan has successfully brought in advanced technologies that will benefit both the Government and the people of Vanuatu for years to come.
