JAPANESE GOVERNMENT (MEXT) SCHOLARSHIP FOR 2023

The Ministry of Education, Culture, Sports, Science and Technology (Monbukagakusho: MEXT) of the Japanese Government offers 3 categories of scholarship program to Vanuatu students who wish to study at Japanese universities.
Vanuatu students interested in applying for these scholarships and were born on or after April 2, 1998 are eligible to apply for the Undergraduate and Specialized Training College scholarship programs. Those who will graduate high school by March 2023 are also eligible to apply. The Specialized Training College program is a three (3) year study program while the Undergraduate program is for five (5) years. Both programs include a one-year Japanese language study.
The Research or Postgraduate program funds for education in Japan at the Master’s degree level and requires an applicant to have completed their four (4) years of University level education or to complete it by March 2023. Applicants for this program must be born on or after April 2, 1988.
All three programs are full scholarship programs covering airfare, tuition and monthly stipends.

Please submit the application forms and necessary documents to the Ministry of Education (Scholarship and Training Unit) in Vanuatu by 31st May 2022.
